Kathleen Dustin, who creates the accessories from clay, said they are designed for women who are confident about their style. She said: "Most people are amazed at them. They are for the woman who is very confident in her own personal style because they make a very strong statement." 
Ms Dustin, 58, only makes 200 of the limited edition purses a year as each is painstakingly handmade. Ms Dustin's designs, which are all unique, range from £200 to £1,000, and can be ordered through her website Kathleendustin.
Her most recent purses and art jewelry pay attention to the natural forms she finds in the woods of New Hampshire.
