Sissi Rossi S.r.l. was founded in 1993 by Beatrice Rossi (Sissi) and her husband Massimo Betocchi. The company soon becomes known for its originality and style in the high end luxury market.

In 1999, with the help of her brother Gian Enzo Rossi for the commercial side of the business, Sissi undertakes a new endeavour, and designs her own line of sissirossi bags and accessories, creating a new and highly distinctive style. She is immediately recognized as one of the most important and innovative designers of accessories in the luxury market, acquiring a discriminating clientele seeking quality and style.

Shortly afterwards, company headquarters moved to Villanova di Castenaso (Bologna): 1,700 sq. meters consisting of office space, design and construction studios (CAD), prototype laboratory, as well as administrative, commercial, production and logistic departments. All production is made entirely in Italy, in the immediate area of Bologna, using exclusively highly qualified artisan laboratories.

The Sissi Rossi collections are marketed throughout the world; in addition to two sissirossi stores in Tokyo, collections can be found in the best boutiques and major international department stores.
