Why rate a handbag?

We want to know what YOU think about your favorite (and least favorite) handbags! That's why we created a system for handbag lovers to rate a handbag according to their feelings, opinions and 1st hand knowledge. Then other handbag lovers can more easily discover amazing bags, helping them make better buying decisions.

You can rate the following:
WOW Factor
If some part of a handbag is awesome and really surprises you or blows you away, that is the 'WOW Factor'. Maybe it's the color, a detail, or just the whole look. Does the bag make you go: "OMG this handbag is so cute/amazing/adorable/delicious. I want it. I need it!"? Then the 'WOW Factor' is high. Let others know!
Uniqueness
If something makes a handbag unique and different from others, that is the 'Uniqueness'. A unique handbag is like a part of your personality, that can tell who you are and why you are special. If a handbag can make you feel this way, you could give the bag a high score on 'Uniqueness'.
Practicality
If a handbag is chic and stylish, yet still practical, you might want to give the bag a high score on 'Practicality'. Some features like light-weight, large, pocket/storage friendly and cross-body strap that free your hands could be included in your decision making when rating this feature.
Popularity
Is it a must-have bag? If a handbag looks familiar, or you've heard a lot of your girlfriends talk about it, then that probably means it's a really popular handbag. If that’s the case then you could give the bag a high score on 'Popularity'.
o Value for Money
How much does the handbag cost? If you are crazy about a handbag, then of course this question won't matter, since some of you handbag fanatics would rather go hungry for a week then having to suffer not owning your favorite bag! But do you ever think whether a handbag is actually worth the money the Designer is asking? Here is the chance to be intellectual. Take your time and give your score on 'Value for Money'.

How do you come up with the 'TOP 100' handbags ?
The 'TOP 100' handbags ranking is determined by how you rate all of the features such as 'WOW Factor' and 'Value for Money'. So ladies, vote up your favorite bags! By rating bags you'll help other handbag lovers discover gorgeous bags, and make sure that they think twice before paying huge money for a bag which the community has ranked near the bottom ie. fashion disaster!

Why aren't there any detailed price given for each bag?

Handbags here don't have exact prices, because we are not a shopping website. But we still try to show you how much these handbags cost. So we set several price ranges, so that you can get an idea of how cheap or expensive the handbag is:
It's a steal (Less than $500)
I can handle it ($500 to $1000)
It's a splurge ($1000 to $2000)
Ridiculously expensive ($2000 to $3000)
My life savings! ($3000+)

So, if a handbag is tagged with 'I can handle it ($500 to $1000)', that means the price of this handbag is between $500 and $1000. Of course, just because it says 'I can handle it' doesn't mean it's a cheap bag…because $1,000 is a lot of money and I can definitely NOT handle it. But in comparison to the cost of other designer handbags, its just below the mid-range in terms of pricing.
To be honest, sometimes it's really a shock when designers announce the price of a new handbag. But girls, an amazing handbag is for life! How can we put a price on arm-candy? We can't. But to make sure we don't waste our money on some ridiculous bag our site tries to serve as a cool community and source of inspiration to help girls like us make better handbag decisions before we go out and buy one.
